Candidates aspiring to become a CNA in the state of Virginia may find tremendous job opportunities, since there is a shortage of certified nursing assistants in VA.   • S/he should be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proof of immunization for tetanus, measles, rubella, mumps, etc., is required.
  • Negative result of TB test is necessary to get admittance in the program.
  • Candidate should be a citizen of United States and a resident of VA.
  • It is mandatory to pass the basic reading and math competency tests.
  • Involvement in any felony or wrong doing may lead to disqualification.
