CNA classes in Indiana have gained momentum in recent times since most of the students wish to make their career in this field. Certified nurse aide programs are conducted at several places throughout the state, and last for a few weeks or for a college semester. Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) oversees the nursing assistant program in IN to ensure that prospective CNAs meet the requisite qualifications, and are appropriately placed on the Nurse Aide Registry. 1. What qualifications are required to enroll for a certified nursing assistant program in Indiana?

Answer: To become a certified nursing assistant, a candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent. In other cases, candidate must have completed at least ninth grade. Other requisites are- 18 years of age, excellent communication skills, and clear criminal background.
