CNA Program In Ohio

To work as a certified nurse assistant, an aspirant needs to get enrolled in CNA classes in Ohio.  These are regulated by Ohio State Board of Nursing. The entire program is supervised by a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse. Successful completion of this course allows an aspirant to take the state approved certification exam. The candidate is given 3 attempts to pass this exam. Pre-requisites for CNA Classes in Ohio

The requirements for enrolling in CNA program is as follows:

  • The aspirant must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must hold a high school diploma or GED.

  • Clearance of Criminal Background Check and drug screening is mandatory.
  • Proof of immunization is to be submitted.
  • A negative TB test report is required as well.
